Abstract: My starting point is that the “green revolution” and free trade policies haven’t been successful towards solving hunger problems and might even endanger the nutrition system of the whole human society. On the consumption side, especially in the north, but also in the wealthy social classes in the south, feeding habits need more and more energy and produce too much rubbish. A hopeful concept to open up new doors is food sovereignty which focuses on the re-localisation of the production and consumption. In the last years a wave of new community supported agriculture projects established in Switzerland which refer to food sovereignty. I will argue that it is important, that such projects change established habits and connect daily food practices with political activities to change the agricultural structure. I will outline some strategies.
