Abstract (de): Die Klima-, Ressourcen- und die aktuelle Finanzkrise belegen das Scheitern des auf Wachstum und Fremdversorgung basierenden Wohlstandsmodells. Zeit zum Innehalten: Anstelle eines expansiven „Weiter-so“ bietet sich das Konzept der Postwachstumsökonomie an, die zwar bescheiden dimensioniert, aber langfristig stabil ist.

Abstract (en): The ongoing climate, resource and financial crises underscore the failure of a prosperity model based on growth and dependency on consumption. Time to take stock of things: In place of expansive “business-as-usual“ policies, it might be worth taking a look at the concept of post-growth economics, which can actually be sustainable in the long term – albeit of modest dimensions.
