The Beyond Growth Conference will be a space for democratic deliberation for a new economic model based on caring for people and the planet. The desired outcome is to lay the foundations for a new social compact that will help us overcome our economy’s dependence on economic growth and unequal global relations. This requires addressing the current ecosocial crisis in its various dimensions and making a dignified life possible for all people within the planetary boundaries.
The Conference will take place on September 26, 2025, at the Congress of Deputies in Madrid. A Social Forum will follow in February 2026, with a date yet to be determined.
