International Degrowth Network

The International Degrowth Network (IDN) is a network of organizations and individuals committed to degrowth. The IDN aims to bring people together to provide support and share ideas while helping to spread the word about degrowth around the world. The IDN aims to facilitate international cooperation between different degrowth groups and help craft a degrowth narrative that builds awareness and support for degrowth.

Feminism(s) and Degrowth Alliance (FaDA)

The Feminisms and Degrowth Alliance (FaDA) is an inclusive network of academics, activists, and practitioners. FaDa aims at fostering dialogue between feminists and degrowth proponents and at integrating gender analysis and reasonings into degrowth activism and scholarship. The network was launched in September 2016 at the 5th International Degrowth Conference in Budapest.

A good life for all requires a way of doing business and a form of society that aim at the well-being of all people and fellow creatures and protect the ecological basis of life. This can only be achieved by a fundamental change in our current mode of living and production as well as a comprehensive cultural change.

Degrowth Movement Assembly

For several years, the degrowth movement has been working persistently to build community and connection between groups and across borders - whether through annual Degrowth Conferences or the more informal Degrowth Assemblies that have often accompanied them. The first International Assembly of the Degrowth Movement was held in August 2018 in Freetown Christiania (Copenhagen, Denmark). The last assembly was convened on June 23rd 2025 in Oslo, Norway.
