From the conference programme: The panel will bring together trade unionists and NGO activists from both the 'classical', industrial growth-oriented and the more radical, degrowth-friendly wings of Europe's Labour movements to discuss a) strategies like "green jobs", "qualitative growth" etc. for overcoming the negative social and ecological effects of traditional economic growth, as well as b) the consequences of non-growth-centered models of societal development for the organization(s) of work/labour in a broader sense.
