Nathan is currently a PhD candidate at the WU in Vienna. His research focuses on degrowth, strategies for social ecological transformation, and understanding how related movements are taking shape on both sides of the Atlantic. He is also a main organizer of the Vienna degrowth conference.

Joe is a researcher currently based in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. His PhD in Human Geography explored young environmental activists' imaginaries of socio-ecological crisis and transformation. He co-manages the degrowthUK online platforms. He enjoys music, books and train travelling.

Nina is a political scientist and has been working for the Konzeptwerk since 2012. Besides her work for the web portal, she focuses on internal coordination for the Konzeptwerk.
Livia has a degree in Social-Ecological Economics and Policy. She was part of the Degrowth Vienna 2020 Conference organising team with a focus on external communication, and has been coordinating the Degrowth & Strategy publication (forthcoming, 2022) since August 2020.

KC (he/they) is a Master of Environmental Studies candidate at the University of Pennsylvania. Concentrating in Degrowth and Technology, KC is currently researching how degrowth can inform the evolution of social media and communicating this research via video essays published primarily on TikTok. They enjoy making and eating peanut butter.

Ishaan (he/him) is an activist-researcher most recently based in Schumacher College, UK studying Engaged Ecology. He has an MSc in Mathematics and previously worked as a capital markets trader in the Brazilian markets. He is now drawn to experimental local communities, and working at the intersection of ecosophy, climate justice and care-based economics. An ideal day might include some slow vegan food while playing chess after a forest walk.
Jacob is currently doing a PhD in environmental social sciences at Utrecht University, focusing on democratic praxis in alternative food networks.
Constanza studied Journalism in Santiago and Human Ecology in Lund . She is currently living in northern Italy, caring for her family and establishing a CSA project. She is creating a bridge between academic activism & social practices.
is a Brazilian feminist economist and researcher currently finishing her master's at the Copernicus Institute at Utrecht University with a UES scholarship. When not playing football or training MMA, Carol enjoys discussing ways to build a decolonial society based on happiness for all beings. She believes in autonomous movements, commonality, and sport as a tool for community building.
Joëlle (she/her) is a lecturer in Ecological Economics and Environmental Justice at the Berlin School of Economics and Law (HWR) and at the St Paul University in Ottawa, and a community builder for a food buying group in Quebec. Her work seeks to build bridges between the academia and social movements.
